Content and technology
The best way to learn about technology is by using it. It’s the same with driving a car, crossing the road with your parents, or learning how to read and write in school. Electronic devices just landed in our hands without any instruction manuals. Yes, we know how to use a phone and browse the internet, but are we really aware that we’re allowing companies to sell our data? Can we tell when social media photos have been edited? How should you approach your child getting their first phone? What risks are associated with using Google or Alexa? The list of skills we need is never-ending, that’s why the services we offer at Criteriomil are so varied.
Training
Teenagers, adults, the elderly, professionals, etc.
We design tailor-made training programmes based on each group’s needs and abilities. These groups include foundations, educational institutions, businesses, and educators, to primary school students, teenagers, young adults and the elderly. Our sessions are always hands-on, dynamic, and informal. Learning as you go, while consuming/browsing content, is the best approach for media literacy training. Given that the content is so diverse, we’re able to personalise the programmes. For example, we might have teenagers taking part in activities where they don’t put the phone down, or we might focus more on teamwork, role-play and design thinking for an older audience.
Consulting services
Project management, preparing reports, advising, creating proposals, etc.
Services include preparing reports for European projects, designing short-, medium-, and long-term strategic plans which include media literacy tools and resources, and creating books and e-learning material for educational use. Our consulting services stem from our experience managing different kinds of national and international projects. It’s thanks to this experience that we can work effectively with all parties involved in the projects, without failing to meet deadlines or objectives.

Conferences
Presentations on a wide range of topics, interactive workshops, and many more
Digital content perspectives are so diverse within members of the same group, that our involvement needs to be completely personalised so as to cater to all parties. It’s vital that each session adapts to the specific audience. We’ve worked with small groups of five people, but also with larger crowds in auditoriums of 500 people, all hailing from different parts of the world. Our language, tone, examples, dynamics and of course our content all change depending on whether we’re working with teenagers, the elderly or professionals. The setting will also influence the above, for example, we need to consider if we’re in an educational (school) context, or if we’re at a trade fair, a convention or in a corporate environment.
